Polish Wear Test: Zoya

I've never used Zoya products before, so naturally I had to give this brand a road test. I painted my nails with this fabulous Ibiza color which is perfect for Winter last Thursday. That was exactly 8 days ago.

Loved the color, topped it with my trusty top coat which I call "Nail Cement". I added more 'Nail Cement' on Monday night to keep the color nice and shiny. (unfortunately my 'nail cement' was discontinued and they supposedly replaced it with this, Anti-Chip Top Coat, but I have yet to test it)

Eight days later this is the state of my nails:

Aside from picking the polish on my index finger (give me a break, I was getting my yearly review!) the color stayed intact. I believe the yearly raise served me to get me more Zoya.

I'm really lusting after this shade.

Unfortunately I dont like any of their Spring shades so I have to stick with oldies. But at least they're goodies!

  3. The color is gorgeous and rich; reminds me a lot of OPI's Russian Navy but it doesn't mimic the purple done RN has on the bottle. Plus, I really liked the applicator.

  4. An elementary school friend of mine has a nail polish line called Ginger + Liz and I've blogged about them a few times on my blog -- you should definitely check them out. They've got amazing colors and are fairly chip-resistant (which is major for me because I type pretty much 24/7).
